Marylea Cottage, a classic year-round cottage located in the most coveted part of Rockport Village, is perched high over Rockport Harbor with views of the inner and outer harbor, as well as Indian Island Light. The house is rich in history, has been in the same family since the 1930's and is where the Curtis Institute began its summer music program - known today as Bay Chamber Concerts. A compound of buildings include the light-filled main house, a waterside guest-house (an original design from the 1939 World's Fair), several rustic log cabins, a 2-car garage with ample storage and a garden shed. Set on the deepest side of the harbor, there's a dock and float for your boat and over 400' of varied water-frontage including a private pebble beach, great for swimming and rock ledges for lounging and diving.
