The 'beach' is a gradual entrance to the lake for easy boat input or kayak entrance. Brooks is about 12 country miles to Belfast where you will find lots of activity, as well as the ocean. Brooks has its own sweet little downtown with a hardware store, grocery store, restaurant, golf course, theater and public park. Around 1000 people live here and it would be great to have a couple more!
